The New York Rangers’ President and General Manager Chris Drury announced that recently signed goaltender Louie Domingue would begin his 2022 campaign in Hartford. The 30-year-old netminder took part in 22 games as a member of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins during the 2021-22 season and posted a record of ten wins, nine losses, and four overtime losses with a .924 save percentage.

Domingue played a massive role for the Penguins in the Stanley Cup Playoffs last season, as he appeared in six games and posted a 3-3 record against the Rangers. The Quebec native is a veteran of the American Hockey League as he has 125 games under his belt with a career record of 56 wins, 49 losses, and 13 overtime losses with a save percentage over .907. Domingue has also participated in five career Calder Cup Playoffs games, so he has experience in both settings, throughout his expertise within the AHL. President and General Manager Chris Drury also assigned 11 other players from Rangers training camp to take place in Wolf Pack training camp, which is set to open on October 3rd.

The Hartford Wolf Pack will begin the 2022-23 campaign on Friday, October 14th, as they visit the Charlotte Checkers. However, the home-opener is set to take place on October 22nd as Louis Domingue and company welcome in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
