Pie to the Face… but What Kind?

Pie to the Face... but What Kind?

Fall has officially arrived everyone! Leaves are changing color; weather is starting to get much colder and pumpkin spice lattes are back at Starbucks. But the thing I am excited for the most is that I get to start making pies finally.

But what is the best kind of pie? It is a tough decision indeed but I would have to go with a Blueberry Pie. In all honesty, there are so many good pie flavors. Boston cream pie is a great flavor, apple is another incredible flavor, pumpkin pie is a classic, but a good blueberry pie is hard to beat.

Blueberry is my favorite fruit, but the blueberry pie is even better. The sweet and tarty flavors of blueberry pie are so good together and make a great combination. Pairing the blueberries with sugar, lemon juice, and corn starch makes an incredible blueberry pie.

Not to mention, I love that flaky pie crust that is not too hard that it hurts your teeth, or too soft that it feels like absolute mush. And to top it all off, blueberry pie always goes well with a little bit of cool whip. Overall, everything about blueberry pie makes it an exciting fall dessert to bake for all your friends and family.
