HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM TO THE LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY!

Daniel Roy, News Editor

“The more you practice the art of thankfulness, the more you have to be thankful for.”

The University of Hartford goes by this statement with a whole heart, and this year is proud to be presenting its first ever LGBTQIA+ “Friendsgiving,” this upcoming Thursday November 17th from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM.

This event is designated to the LGBTQIA+ students of our University in thanks and appreciation for the contributions of inclusivity they bring forward in all assets of life on campus, and acknowledging the progression made in making the University of Hartford a friendly place for all, no matter their gender and/or sexuality.

This meal will be taking place in Commons private dining room, payment for the meal for every student can be done with the swipe of their card and charged to their meal plan.

All students and staff who resonate as members of the LGBTQIA+ community are encouraged to join this event!

For further information on this event, please email Natasha Segool, [email protected] or Sarah Coster, [email protected].

Hope to see you there!
