Award-winning actor/activist and Uhart student, Maurice Clark will be presenting a staged reading of his original production “I Am Danell,” which follows the story of a man’s life journey with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The reading portrays situations that may trigger emotional responses. Danell is a middle-aged male who has lived with PTSD for most of his life. He shares a vulnerable and transparent narrative of his challenges with PTSD. As the story of his life unravels, so does he. What is reality? What is fantasy?

There will be a short Q&A session following the reading. The event will occur in Dana Hall 202 on November 15th, 16th, and 17th at 7 p.m. Additionally, this event is donation-based, however only secured ticket purchases through Eventbrite (of the suggested amount) are guaranteed seating: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/451818119157. Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early, the doors open at 6:45 p.m. A special thanks to the College of Arts and Sciences Cinema department for organizing this event.
