Bundle up and join the Hartford Events & Activities Team (HEAT) at this year’s Winter Fest! This indoor/outdoor experience will take place on Sunday, February 12 from 12-4 PM in Konover and F Lot. Aramark will be providing free soup and sweets to students in attendance. HEAT has some exciting activities planned, including synthetic ice skating, a ski-lift photo booth, airbrush beanies, winter crafts, a s’mores bar, and more! Students are encouraged to bring a friend and take a break from homework to enjoy the festivities.

Last Monday HEAT set up its booth at the club fair to recruit new members. HEAT is a student-run organization at Uhart that plans campus-wide programs and events for students. If you’re interested in joining, HEAT has opened its office doors in GSU 152 and updated its office hours. Students and faculty are invited to come on down to say hi, ask questions about upcoming events, or inquire about joining the team. HEAT also has virtual office hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
